Oil of bergamot is what gives Earl Grey its distinctive, bitter citrusy flavor, and we have added it to our luxury pure organic honeybush and rooibos blend of herbal tea, along with lovely little pink rose petals, with apples for a touch of sweetness and ruby red rose hips, creating our own unique twist on the beloved English classic.

Well, true to it's description, this tea is very fragrant, more than 3 months have passed since I ordered it and the tea hasn't lost it's flavor. I find it perfect when sweetened with floral honey. However, I haven't reached for it that much; I brew it once in a blue moon.

It's a very nice tea. I purchased both this one and the Rooibos Earl Grey. This one is a little more floral. It's lighter in brew per tablespoon placed in teapot of the other tea, but it also has larger pieces. It says it has apple, but it's not a strong note. It's more floral, less Earl Grey in potency, and maybe more relaxing than Earl Grey. I do notice the rose flavor, which I like. Goes well with milk or almond milk.

If you're an Earl Grey addict looking for for a caffeine-free alternative, give this a try! It has that typical, bergamot-y richness, with a little floral touch. Perfect for a rainy afternoon when I want Earl Grey, a cat, and a book, but it's too late in the day for caffeine!
