Description

We are delighted to be able to offer you this fine aged Golden Pu'erh, as it is a rare and highly sought after limited supply. Our Aged Royal Pu’erh was grown and harvested during the 1980's - 35 years ago. Aging the tea produces unique characteristics and a smoothness that is otherwise impossible.

It produces a bold, intense earthy flavor (think fresh turned soil or top soil) with notes of cinnamon spice, leather, camphor, and bark. The tea liquor is incredibly clear and has a mouth feel of silky fullness.

For the best tea drinking experience, we recommend using a gaiwan and enjoying multiple infusions. 35 Year Aged Royal Pu’erh can be steeped at least five times without bitterness- to unlock the full depth, complexity, and maturity of the leaves.

Our 35 Year Aged Royal Pu’erh is a vintage treasure that is a must try for any tea enthusiast.

Relatively new to the ripe/raw, and from what I've had so far, this is pretty good pu erh. I steep a little shorter than most people (30 seconds- 1 minute) so I can get all the good flavor profiles. First steep was really rich, not too thick, very smooth. This doesn't have all the musty, grassy, malted gym sock taste that some of the other raw/ripes have, and isn't leaving my mouth dry. The leaves also look shorter and thinner, I would guess that it is a higher grade tea? It's unique in my budding (lol) collection and I rank it up there with my white and tribute pu erh. Literally marked it A+. Try some, you might like it.

I have been drinking Pu Erh Tea for several years and aged tea is my favourite. Smooth earthy tastes with a beautiful colour when milk is added {pink tones}. I cannot agree with some of the comments here about a fish smell, it smells nothing like fish and the taste is perfect, even better than my usual tea supplier. The cost of the tea is also very reasonable for a vintage 35-year-old Pu Erh tea. Highly recommend and I will be buying more soon.
