Description
Fu Shou Shan High Mountain is grown in the second highest peak in the Li Shan Mountain range, exceeding even Li Shan Mountain; or Pear Mountain, for which the mountain range is named! Fu Shou Shan High Mountain oolong is lightly oxidized and is known as “The President's Tea”. Fu Shou Shan is grown in an area that is frequently shrouded with clouds and heavy fog which creates a cool, damp environment. Due to the high elevation, this region has significantly cooler temperatures, which means the plants will mature slowly, causing the tea to be full-bodied and deep in flavour. The infusion has predominant orchid floral notes, and a sweet and gentle melon flavor. Multiple steeps bring out its floral and rich flavours that are predominant and linger long after your last sip! |
