Our exceptional Dan Cong Ya Shi Oolong tea is harvested from eco-friendly tea gardens at an altitude of 800 to 1200 meters, where misty clouds, fertile soil, and abundant minerals create an ideal environment for thriving tea trees. The tea trees belong to the "Duck Shit Aroma" variety - an amusing and unusual name. While our Ya Shi Oolong does not smell or taste like duck droppings, the name has contributed to its popularity and is one of the most famous Dan Cong oolong teas.

Once steeped, Ya Shi Oolong releases a clear, golden, luminous liquor. Its aroma is distinctive, with notes of blooming orchids, hints of creamy milk and fresh almonds. Its flavour is full-bodied, floral and fresh, with a pronounced sweetness, stone fruits and a smooth finish.

Very good for the price. It has the lovely Ya Shi aroma I was looking for. It can get slightly bitter, but this disappears when brewed Chaozhou style with boiling water and very short infusions. In later brews, it develops an interesting, almost raisin-like aroma, which I had not experienced before in Ya Shi Dan Congs.

This tea is very special. The flavor is complexly rich and the smell is good too. A tiny bit of bitterness even make it more interesting. It is definite my new favorite. Thank you for bringing this new tea.
